White Family Shield
16x24 NOT FOR SALE
This piece has special meaning to me and my family. It represents our family Shield of Faith. The 5 candles represent our family members. The globe represents the world and our love of people and cultures. The tree branches going up represent physical health, the roots going down represent spiritual growth and maturity. The triangle represents God the Father, Son, and Spirit. The heart represents our love for each other and for our God.

Bride of Christ
14x18
My mentor, Antonio Soto, from Spain, collaborated with me on this piece. His work was the first that spoke to me and a light bulb went on. He writes spiritually deep poetry and paints murals to interpret what he wrote. His colors and textures, along with the spiritual meat in his work moves me. I knew I wanted to do something similar. He graciously spent some time with me to break me out of my self-imposed boxes and freed me up to create and experiment unencumbered.

Abide

"Just as the Father loved me, I have loved you; abide in my love." John 15:9. This is one of 4 paintings that were started on stage at The Stirring Gen X church service at Hope Presbyterian in Cordova, TN.

Wake Me up Inside
36x24
Inspired by a song, I contemplated how someone who feels empty inside might fall to their knees seeking hope and finding a relationship with God as Saul did on the road to Damascus.

Heart Eyes
in a black floater frame, 12x12
This piece is based on the verse "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints." Ephesians 1:18.

Grateful
30x40 SOLD
"The town harlot came with a bottle of expensive perfume and stood at his feet, weeping, raining tears on Jesus’ feet. Letting down her hair, she dried his feet, kissed them, and anointed them with perfume. Jesus said, “She was forgiven many, many sins, and so she is very, very grateful…” To the woman He said, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” Luke 7:36-50. This was painted onstage at The Stirring, Cordova, TN.

Community
in a black metal frame, 30x40
The hands that form the background of this painting represent unity amid diversity. We are better together. Let's celebrate the beauty of our differences! Red, yellow, black, and white goes back to a song I sang as a child "Red and yellow, black and white, we are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world!"

Soul Healer

"He restores my soul." Psalm 23:3. I used broken pieces of colorful glass glued on to the canvas to show that a shattered life can be restored to something beautiful by our Lord. This was painted onstage at The Stirring, Cordova, TN.

Love One Another3

"A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35. This is showing the 3 loves...God loves us, He sent Jesus to love us, and from His example, we love one another.

One Flesh

This piece represents a united love in marriage. As we come together, we become one.

First Fruit
48x24 NOT FOR SALE
This piece shows the wedding feast, where Jesus turns the water into wine. The party is going on towards the left, Jesus' mother is watching from the right, and in the middle, among the vases of wine, we see Jesus.

Our Intercessor
16x20 SOLD
I painted this piece while praying fervently for a situation I was very concerned about. The dove represents the Holy Spirit interceding for us. Notice the praying hands in the center of the dove. "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." Romans 8:26.

Grace
20x30
This is a small version of a painting I am working on 5'x7'. It represents the son and the father in Luke 15. "But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found." Luke 15:32.
