Bride of Christ14x18My mentor, Antonio Soto, from Spain, collaborated with me on this piece. His work was the first that spoke to me and a light bulb went on. He writes spiritually deep poetry and paints murals to interpret what he wrote. His colors and textures, along with the spiritual meat in his work moves me. I knew I wanted to do something similar. He graciously spent some time with me to break me out of my self-imposed boxes and freed me up to create and experiment unencumbered.

Our Intercessor16x20 SOLDI painted this piece while praying fervently for a situation I was very concerned about. The dove represents the Holy Spirit interceding for us. Notice the praying hands in the center of the dove. "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express." Romans 8:26.
